One Anothers - SERVE One Another
This powerful message challenges us to examine the difference between seeking glory and embracing servanthood in our walk with Christ. Drawing from Matthew 20, we encounter the striking contrast between Jesus speaking about His coming cross while James and John angle for the best seats in His kingdom. Their mother's request for positions of honor reveals a tendency we all share - the desire for recognition and first place. Yet Jesus redirects this ambition entirely, reminding us that greatness in God's kingdom is measured not by how many serve us, but by how many we serve. The imagery of Jesus washing His disciples' feet becomes our blueprint for ministry. If the Lord of glory humbled Himself to perform the lowliest task, how can we do any less? We're reminded that while God gives us unmerited salvation, He never gives unmerited reward - our service matters and will be tested by fire. The call is clear: we must substitute our natural selfishness with supernatural servanthood, viewing ourselves as slaves with many masters rather than masters with many slaves. This isn't easy in our self-focused world, but it's the pathway to true Christian freedom and fulfillment.
